LearnEd

Ignite curiosity and build future-ready skills in SCF’s hands-on Youth Tech Camps! Each month introduces students to a new area of STEM, blending creativity with technology in a fun and supportive environment. Campers will explore digital design and laser cutting using SCF’s Glowforge, experiment with Arduino microcontrollers to learn coding and circuitry, dive into Minecraft Education Edition to develop programming logic, and bring their ideas to life with LEGO® robotics challenges. Designed for beginners and young tech enthusiasts alike, these camps offer a playful path into tech literacy, engineering, and creative problem-solving.

AUGUST: Digital Design & Laser Fabrication

Unleash your inner maker with SCF’s Glowforge laser cutter and easy-to-use design software. Create custom keychains, signs, and puzzles while discovering how digital fabrication plays a role in modern industries.

SEPTEMBER: Intro to Arduino & Physical Computing

Dive into the basics of circuitry and coding using Arduino microcontrollers. Students will light up LEDs, trigger sensors, and build interactive tech—perfect for young tinkerers and budding engineers.

OCTOBER: Coding with Minecraft Education Edition

Turn your favorite game into a learning playground! Use Minecraft to explore visual and Python-based coding, build smart worlds, and automate systems in an environment that’s as fun as it is educational.

NOVEMBER: LEGO® Robotics Challenge

Bring your bots to life! Design, build, and program with LEGO® Spike Prime kits while developing teamwork, engineering thinking, and coding logic through creative robotic challenges.
